Andy: An Innovator in the Commercial Faucet Industry

Since 2003, Andy has been deeply engaged in the commercial kitchen industry. Years of collaboration with major clients have allowed him to accumulate extensive industry expertise and develop deep insights into market demands and evolving trends. From an early age, Andy had a passion for structural design and enjoyed dismantling objects to understand how they worked. This unique understanding and talent for structure played a key role in the early days of his entrepreneurial journey. With limited funding and no resources to hire a team, Andy took charge of product research and development himself. In 2007, driven by his deep industry insight and unwavering pursuit of innovation, he founded his own brand, Bestware. Today, Bestware stands as a premier solution provider of one-stop stainless steel commercial faucets, leading a stainless steel revolution in the commercial faucet industry.

The Dual Forces Behind Innovation: Technology and Sustainability

Andy has long been inspired by the spirit of innovation embodied by Apple's Steve Jobs. He firmly believes that there are no sunset industries; only companies that fail to innovate. With this philosophy at the heart of his business, Andy regards innovation as the central driving force of Bestware's continuous development. The company adheres strictly to original R&D and firmly rejects imitation in all forms.

In 2010, Andy keenly anticipated that commercial faucets would face unprecedented challenges in appearance, durability, and user experience with the rise of open kitchens. Firstly, he noticed that brass was the mainstream material used in commercial faucets. While it met basic functional needs, its shortcomings such as low hardness and susceptibility to wear were becoming increasingly evident. More importantly, stainless steel, a food-grade metal material that has been verified over half a century, had already become the material of choice for most kitchen equipment and utensils, yet faucets remained a notable exception. Why, of all things, weren't faucets made of stainless steel?

Realizing that opportunities and challenges coexisted, Andy recognized that although 304/316 stainless steel was an ideal material, its hardness and machining complexity had long been barriers for the industry. Therefore, he set out to make Bestware a pioneer in overcoming this obstacle. Through years of rigorous experimentation and failures, Andy and his team achieved a technological breakthrough in 2013. By 2015, Bestware successfully mass-produced all-stainless steel pre rinse faucets and became the world's first company to achieve mass production of all-stainless steel commercial faucets. This not only solved problems such as durability, but also led a revolution in the commercial faucet industry.

Moreover, at the time, most products on the market offered a poor user experience and had significant potential for improvement. For example, the spray valves on pre rinse faucets felt awkward to use, caused fatigue after prolonged operation, and had remained virtually unchanged for decades. Drawing on his deep expertise in product design and engineering, Andy believed the spray valve could be made more ergonomic. Therefore, he creatively developed an ergonomic model with a hydraulic cushioning structure. Compared to the counterparts on the market, it reduced muscle strain by up to 70%, enabling prolonged use without fatigue and significantly improving cleaning efficiency in high-frequency, high-wear commercial settings. Additionally, it features dual-function spray modes that allow users to switch functions easily, further improving operational efficiency and convenience.

Fourthly, health and environmental sustainability were also key motivations for Andy to start his business. Brass contains lead, which poses potential health risks over time. It can also rust and form verdigris, which is toxic and detracts from appearance. Moreover, the production of brass faucets typically involves electroplating, a process that consumes large amounts of energy and can lead to environmental pollution (Although low-lead brass and trivalent chromium electroplating are less harmful, they come at a high cost). In contrast, food-grade stainless steel perfectly avoids these problems. It is entirely lead-free, requires no electroplating, and offers superior durability, making it an ideal alternative. Andy has always believed that only by prioritizing user health and environmental responsibility can a brand truly earn long-term market respect and trust.

Innovation in Practice: Driving Product Evolution through Technological Breakthroughs

At Bestware, Andy advocates the philosophy that "a company must stay forever young, and innovation must never cease." Inspired by this vision, Bestware's journey of innovation has never stopped. From launching the world's first mass production of stainless steel pre rinse faucet in 2015 to introducing the anti-color deviation infrared sensor public faucet and antibacterial 304 stainless steel products in 2025, each innovation reflects Bestware's deep insight into market needs.

During the global pandemic in 2020, there was an urgent need for hygienic solutions in public spaces. In response, Andy led his team to swiftly develop the stainless steel sensor drinking bubbler, which became the world's first sensor drinking bubbler with strong anti-interference capability for public use. In 2021, Bestware also introduced the adjustable stainless steel metering faucet featuring the widest customizable timing range available in public faucet products. This innovation significantly improved water efficiency, accommodating diverse requirements across various public settings. In 2022, Bestware launched the thermostatic sensor faucets, elevating the company's innovation capabilities to new heights. These faucets feature the highest temperature control precision, fastest response time, and strongest anti-scald protection in the industry worldwide.

Bestware pursues technological innovation while embracing bold self-reinvention. Take the spray valve as an example: to deliver a better user experience, Andy proactively developed a new model to replace the original one—even though the earlier design was already regarded as one of the most advanced in the industry at the time. Similarly, for thermostatic faucets, the company achieved a major breakthrough by reducing the heating-up time from over ten seconds to just five, significantly improving user experience. These achievements reflect not only Andy's innovative spirit and Bestware's R&D strength but also our consistent customer-centric service philosophy.

Moreover, guided by the principle of sustainable development, Andy is dedicated to reducing environmental impact by using food-grade stainless steel and reducing the use of plastics and other non-recyclable materials, actively fulfilling both personal and corporate social responsibilities. At the same time, Bestware continues to explore advanced casting and machining technologies, which not only enhance production efficiency and product quality but also significantly reduce waste emissions. This approach cuts manufacturing costs while allowing customers to benefit from more economical, durable, and eco-friendly faucet products, achieving a win-win outcome for both economic and ecological benefits.
